I'm super excited because I just received the satchel that I ordered from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. From what I've heard not everyone was able to get what they wanted, so I lucked out by ordering early! I do mean early; I was online at 12 A.M. looking for the collection to go live. I lasted a while on there because first not all the details were on the individual items, then I couldn't decide between the bag that I actually got and a large satchel (which was the one I had eyed before-hand). Just by looking at the models in the pictures I was able to see that the large would be too big to carry around anytime and seemed almost like a weekender bag to me. So, I opted for the medium satchel with the long strap that I can use as a cross body if I choose or carry by the large handles. There was black and brown in this style and right away I knew I wanted the brown! Another thing that I hesitated on was getting another bag which I regretfully chose not to do :( Now, I'm disappointed in that choice because the bag is really great quality....and let's face it when will I be able to buy another Phillip Lim bag at an affordable price again? Needless to say the handbags and I'm sure many other items sold out quite quickly on the Target site. I have spotted a few handbags on e-bay for at least double the price. That's a bit discouraging for me but if you really wanted a handbag and missed out this might be your last chance. In other related comments: I saw online of how someone's order was not able to be fulfilled by Target and she was reimbursed for double the price which she had paid(she got $100 reimbursement)...yay! Target!! Most importantly, Target made their announcement for the new collection for the Spring of 2014 where Peter Pilotto will be the featured designer.I only say that it's more important because Lim's collection is gone! But we will have a chance at picking up some new items from another designer at an affordable price soon!

Hi Friends! Today's look is another Fall look...while there is less emphasis on the eyes (sort of) the true star are the berry,bold lips. I say that there is less emphasis on the eyes only because they are very easy to re-create but they do end up looking like you really tried, resulting in a beautiful eye look. This is a bit different from my previous Fall look in the sense that not everyone might be as comfortable with the bold-berry lip. However, it's really flattering and I'm sure you'd have so much fun if you give it a chance...plus you will probably get plenty of compliments!!

Hi friends!Today I decided to do a Fall tutorial for you since we are just around the corner from Halloween! I knew that if I wanted to squeeze this in I'd have to hurry because the days come and go way too fast. I'm using a mix of drugstore and a few high end products, but always feel free to accommodate as you would like with products of your choice. This tutorial has somewhat shimmery eyes with some deep brown accents and pinky-natural lips.

Hello friends!! I have some great news for this beautiful
Sunday…that is if you didn't already know that 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target has
arrived! Today 9.15.13, the much awaited day is finally here. What does this
mean you may ask? Well, I have to be completely honest and tell you that up to
a couple months back I did not know either. But upon some quick research to
figure out what the buzz was about I found that this really means so much in
the world of fashion. The reason being that Phillip Lim is a very sought after
designer with some great pieces that have a pretty hefty price tag for most of
us. However, this is the chance to snag up some really incredible pieces
ranging from clothing, shoes, and handbags. Now, I honestly may not see myself
suited for the clothes (they do look great) but I have been eyeing the handbags! This is the chance
to pick up a completely genuine piece for an unbelievable price. For example, one of
the handbags that will be featured is about $55 (for a large satchel), if you
were to purchase outside this collection it would run up in the $800-$1300's at
least. So, even if you’re not familiar with this name I would advise for you to go take a sneak peek, you won’t regret it! Happy findings.
